From our very first meeting, they told me about their dream of having an intimate ceremony by the sea – Francesca’s lifelong dream since she was a little girl.
So, on September 1st, we all gathered on the beach for a small ceremony with close family and friends.
We have so much to learn from Francesca and Vlad, who undoubtedly understood that a wedding by the sea is all about good vibes and an atmosphere that only the ocean can create – even if sometimes it comes with some unexpected guests (in our case, the rain).
Throughout the day, we set up the decor, took it down, set it up again, then covered and uncovered everything. Finally, the rain stopped, and we were jumping with joy, only for it to start again just as the priest spoke the first words… but hey, at least we had beautiful umbrellas in our portfolio! :)
Francesca and Vlad were prepared with handwritten vows, which they read to each other at the end of the religious ceremony. Their words were so touching that they made me cry, and even now, as I write this, I feel the same emotions.
The atmosphere during the ceremony was magical. It was all about love and living in the moment, without letting the rain (which, to be honest, was more than just a few drops) dampen the joy of being on the beach, with the sea as a backdrop, surrounded by their closest loved ones.
And, as always, Irina from UND Photography beautifully captured the magic of the moment. We made a generous selection of photos because only that way can we truly share the unique atmosphere of that beach wedding.
